AI Professor was founded by Mark Shepard — a BC-based tech entrepreneur and REALTOR® with over 35 years of experience in software, systems, and sales. From co-founding Shepard Computer Systems (1987–2000), where he developed business software for public agencies and private clients, to building a 20+ year career in residential real estate, Mark understands both sides of the AI equation: the code and the chaos.

Now, with AI Professor, he's bringing that unique blend of real estate insight and technical know-how to one mission:

After successfully building and running a technology company for 13 years, Mark transitioned to real estate (2003-2026) to gain deep industry expertise and understand how businesses really operate. Now he's returning to his tech entrepreneurship roots with AI Professor.
